12月1日，2020“WAF·CHINA” 世界建筑节年度大奖在成都揭晓，由中国建筑设计研究院·大器设计主持设计的2个项目荣获3项大奖，“寻梦牡丹亭”项目荣获2020“WAF·China”唯一官方特设“设计建成类项目大奖”——年度最佳建成建筑大奖，以及年度优秀作品奖；“昭君博物馆”项目荣获年度优秀作品奖。

On December 1st, 2020 "WAF·CHINA" was announced in Chengdu. Two projects sponsored by CADG won the grand Prize. The "Peony Pavilion" project won the only official AD  "WAF·CHINA" Design and Completed Project Award -- The Best Completed Building Award of the year and the Outstanding Works award of the year."Zhaojun Museum" project won the annual Excellent Works Award.

本次大赛通过WAF国际评审团，从200余名入围项目中评选出“WAF·China”优秀作品奖37名，官方特设5个类别大奖各一名。优秀作品奖项目将直接入围WAF2021 LisbonWAF总决赛，官方特色类别大奖获得者中国建筑设计研究院·大器设计团队将被WAF组委会邀请在Lisbon总决赛现场发布演讲，并由WAF组委会颁发奖项。

Through WAF International Jury, 37 "WAF·China" excellent works were selected from more than 200 shortlisted projects, with one official award in each of 5 categories.The project of Outstanding Works will be directly shortlisted in WAF2021 LisbonWAF Summary Competition. 

 01   奖项介绍 /Award Introduction

WAF世界建筑节（World Architecture Festival，简称WAF）创办于2008年，被誉为建筑界的奥斯卡，是国际建筑界规模最大、声望最高的盛事之一，由英国EMAP集团主办。EMAP集团拥有Architectural Review和Architects' Journal 等众多建筑媒体品牌。其中Architectural Review 杂志于1896年起在伦敦出版，123年的历史几乎见证记录了整个近现代建筑史的发展。这本百年杂志创刊至今一共设立了8个设计奖项，分别是“WAF（世界建筑节）”，“Women in Architecture”、“AR EmergingArchitecture（新锐建筑奖）”、“AR House（最佳住宅奖）”、“AR Library（图书馆奖）”、“AR New into Old”、“MIPIM（未来项目奖）”、、“International VELUX Award”。

Founded in 2008, the WAF World Architecture Festival (WAF) is regarded as the Oscar of Architecture and one of the largest and most prestigious events in the international Architecture World. It is hosted by EMAP Group.EMAP Group owns many Architectural media brands such as Architectural Review and Architects' Journal.

WAF大赛评审团水准一直保持行业高标准，2020“世界建筑节·中国”（WAF·China）有来自20多个国家的42位专家评委参与评审，并由国际建筑设计行业的六位超级大咖组成超级评审团，他们分别是Paul Finch、Heather Dodd、Jeremy Melvin、Paul Hyett、Shane O’Toole、Susana Rosmaninho。其中Paul Finch保罗∙芬奇爵士是WAF·China的组委会主席，也是WAF的创始人，他同时是英国设计委员会副主席，Architectural Review杂志的编辑主任。评委Paul Hyett曾担任两届RIBA英国皇家建筑师协会主席。

WAF competition jury level keep industry standards, "world architecture festival, China's" 2020 (WAF · China) have 42 from more than 20 countries expert judges to participate in the review, and by the international architectural design industry of six super cafe super jury, selected from more than 200 pieces of various types of awards, they respectively are Paul Finch, Heather Dodd, Jeremy Melvin, Paul Hyett, Shane O 'Toole, Susana Rosmaninho.

 寻梦牡丹亭 

 The Dream of the PeonyPavilion    

年度官方最佳建成建筑大奖

项目位于江西抚州临川，是明代著名的戏曲学家、文学家汤显祖的故乡。项目南临抚河，占地约14万平米，是“寻梦牡丹亭”的实景演出场地，更是城市更新和进化发展的一个文化切片。

Located in Linchuan, Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province, the project is the hometown of Tang Xianzu, a famous opera scholar and writer in the Ming Dynasty. 

“寻梦牡丹亭”大型实景演出园区由中国院大器设计主持建筑师曹晓昕主持设计，“寻梦牡丹亭”实景演出由阳光媒体集团出品，董事长杨澜担任出品人。项目定位高，且具有浓厚的中国特色和文化基因。建筑师在解决旧城更新诸多问题的同时，还承载了规划、建筑、景观、舞美一体化设计的复杂任务。在整个项目推进过程中，业主与建筑师在意识层面相互促进。建筑师的专业知识以及在城市建设方面的经验，成为将文化基因与城市发展完美结合，并最终落地进而促进城市进化发展的催化剂。

The project has a high positioning, and has strong Chinese characteristics and cultural genes.While solving many problems in the renewal of the old city, architects also bear the complex task of integrated design of planning, architecture, landscape and stage design.

“《寻梦牡丹亭》项目诠释了新与旧、商业与文化、现实与幻想的融合，为明代剧作家汤显祖的戏剧《牡丹亭》提供了全天候的沉浸式表演空间。整个公园即舞台， 观众可以欣赏演员在真实与虚构的建筑物背景下演绎每个角色的人生。同时，该项目还促进了当地文旅产业发展以及旧城复兴”。

"The Peony Pavilion project explains the fusion of new and old, business and culture, reality and fantasy, providing an all-weather immersive performance space for Ming Dynasty playwright Tang Xianzu's play The Peony Pavilion.The entire park is the stage, and the audience can enjoy the actors playing each character's life against the backdrop of real and fictional buildings.At the same time, the project also promotes the development of the local cultural tourism industry and the revitalization of the old city.

寻梦牡丹亭项目介绍 

 “千年汤显祖，寻梦牡丹亭”—— 长达500米的三幕实景互动性演出，承载了建筑师对现实、地狱与天堂体验的极致想象。设计超越了普通的舞台美工布景，也不同于单纯园林的营造，建筑师致力于将中国古典戏剧故事抽象为融“传统造园和建筑”于一体的真实空间，该空间满足了夜晚演出与白天游园的复合化使用要求。建筑师团队以非同寻常的想象力和差异化的材料组织，依托周边具有历史感的老屋旧宅，使现实梦境化、使梦境诗意化，创造出具有中国古典气质的真实乌托邦。

Inspired by thescenic and interactive show “The Dream of the Peony Pavilion” at the backdrop ofthree 500m long background, the architect creates an experience in the reality,hell and heaven to the best of his imagination.Beyond the commonstage setting and different from the way of creating a simple garden, thearchitect aims to incorporate the classical Chinese play into a real space featuring“the traditional gardeningand architecture” where composite functions integrating nightperformance and daytime garden tour are both satisfied.

建筑师在设计中将中国传统园林、古典建筑设计与室外戏剧演出的舞美需要完美结合，同时充分考虑了基地周边老宅的改造。这一建筑实践可被看做是建筑师介入舞美设计，借助实景演出的旅游机遇，提升了区域的文化艺术价值，带动了城市更新的探索性实践，具有积极的现实意义和创新性。

With extraordinary imagination and differentiatedmaterial utilization, the architect team makes use of the surrounding oldresidences through the ages to transform the reality into a dream and the dreaminto a poem, and creates a real utopia in a Chinese classical vein.

经过详细的场地调研与分析，最终园区被划分为三个区域：“建筑修缮保护区” 现状有大量历史建筑遗留，对老宅的修缮保护激活了地块的历史价值；“北侧配套服务功能区”紧邻修缮保护区，配套设置了舞台服务与排练厅等功能，游客服务中心紧邻老宅。“实景演出区”围绕中央现状水体布置，是夜晚演出和白天游园的主要场所。

The park is finally divided into three areas: the current situation of "building repair protection zone" has a large number of historical buildings left behind;The "North supporting service function area" is adjacent to the restoration protection area.The "live-action performance area" is the main venue for night performances and daytime Tours.

设计充分尊重基地的历史和自然文脉，对演艺区入口广场现状的老宅进行了修缮，并将部分老宅改造为博物馆，园区内大量成型树木也作为场地景观记忆加以保留。新建的游客服务中心结合保护修缮区的老宅，建筑尺度和肌理与老宅区域协同呼应，新与旧的对比和带动成功发掘了场地的文化属性，为区域赋予了新的活力.

The newly built tourist service center, combined with the protection and repair of the old houses in the area, coordinated the architectural scale and texture with the old houses, and led the comparison and development of the new and old to successfully explore the cultural attributes of the site, which endowed the area with new vitality.

北侧的游客服务中心紧邻老宅修缮区，建筑造型简洁而现代，混凝土的外墙材质更好的衬托了江南民居的白墙青瓦，设计手法实现了新旧建筑的融合。随着实景演出旅游吸引力的不断提升，这些老宅将有机会作为最真实的生活舞台，吸引游客探寻抚州当地的文化，同时也将使得当地原住民的文化生活与经济水平得以提升。

The visitor service center on the north side is close to the old residential repair area, with simple and modern architectural modeling. The external wall material of concrete better reflects the white walls and blue tiles of jiangnan folk houses, and the design method realizes the integration of old and new buildings.

游园观演  虚实相生

园区通过建筑景观一体化的设计，满足了夜间实景演出与日间游园的复合功能，湖岸东侧的分幕背景构筑物形成传统园林的秀美，锈蚀钢板的颓废凄凉以及金属墙面简洁线条的未来体验，建构了与三幕戏剧相对应的长卷式景观舞美背景。

Through the integrated design of architectural landscape, the park satisfies the complex function of the night scene performance stage and the day garden.

三幕戏剧舞台背景的设计呼应戏剧演出的要求，在近500米的背景上依次展开，通过建筑设计的空间与材质的差别，以及对舞台表演转场与复杂机械使用需求的满足，很好的实现了复杂与大型实景演出的需要。

The background of the three-act stage satisfies the need of complex and large-scale live performance through the difference of space and material of architectural design

实景演出的观众观赏区与普通固定座位的观赏方式不同，游客需要随着戏剧演出的情节推进，跟随舞台的切换在游览中进行动态的观赏，这种步移景异的观赏方法是中国古典园林所特有的游览方式，也给观众带来了一种身临其境的戏剧融入感。

It is a unique way of sightseeing in Chinese classical gardens to watch the scenery in a dynamic way by following the switch of the stage, which will also bring the audience a sense of immersive drama integration.

这篇巨大的山形城市背景墙作为戏剧最后一幕的结尾印象，景观墙高20米，宽150米，一山两面，垂直游园。承载了巨型投影屏的功能，引发观众观看戏剧情绪的高潮。

This large gable city background wall serves as the final impression of the final act of the play.It carries the function of a giant projection screen and triggers the climax of the audience's emotions.

这片景墙白天为可以垂直攀爬的人工山体，便于游人从不同标高鸟瞰全园；景墙的另一面作为城市界面，以特色灯光进行勾勒，用最少的资源为城市形成独特的文化景观。

This landscape wall is an artificial mountain that can be climbed vertically during the day, which is convenient for visitors to have a bird's eye view of the whole garden from different elevations.

建筑景观一体  商业文化复合

演艺区入口北广场采用纯粹的符号化墙面与右侧复古的建筑门阙形成对比，作为戏剧的入口，建筑师为游客打造了灵动梦幻的“牡丹花开”第一观演区。

The north square at the entrance of performing arts area adopts the pure symbolic wall to form a contrast with the retro architectural gate on the right, which serves as the entrance to the drama.

建筑师将隔河相望的实景演出观众席设计成为层次丰富的台地景观，观演时便于观众席地而坐，景观坐席采用修葺拆除的旧砖瓦和碎石结合，营造韵味独特的游览空间趣味，与白墙灰瓦屋檐呼应，唤起了墙头看戏的体验与记忆。

The architect designed the auditorium for the performance across the river into a platform landscape with rich layers, so that the audience can sit on the ground when watching the performance.

作为紧邻城市老旧建筑区的新建实景演出文化公园，设计以极强的历史责任感将设计任务延伸到对整个区域尤其是老宅修缮改造的提升上，改造修缮老宅片区的同时，通过园林景观与游客服务的综合功能，有效地提升了区域的文化与旅游价值。

 03  设计团队 / Design team Introduction

中国建筑设计研究院有限公司（CADG）创建于1952年，前身为中央直属设计公司，目前隶属于国务院国资委直属的大型骨干科技型中央企业——中国建设科技集团股份有限公司。中国院·大器设计是院直属品牌工作室，属名人工作室系列，工作室主任与主持建筑师曹晓昕。工作室的前身“器空间”初创于2006年，“大器”两字代表着以独特的物性观和器物视角，以全尺度链的工作方式，致力于当下城市、建筑和环境中各类设计问题的思考与研究，力求为业主提供最佳的解决方案和最完整的设计服务。

获奖项目主持建筑师：曹晓昕，毕业于东南大学（原南京工学院）建筑系，中国建筑设计研究院副总建筑师。中国建设科技集团中央研究院“老旧社区综合改造”研究中心主任。国家一级注册建筑师，APEC注册建筑师，教授级高级建筑师、硕士生导师。中国建筑学会建筑改造和城市更新专业委员会副主任委员。中国设计红星奖终评评委、中国工业设计专家工作委员会委员。曾获中国建筑学会中国青年建筑师奖，全球青年华人建筑师奖、中国建筑学会当代中国百名建筑师称号。
