Responsibilities
· Develops solutions for architectural technical systems and details in support of project design intent
· Explores design studies in 2D and 3D formats to determine optimal solutions
· Coordinates design development, production, and delivery of projects as a technical leader of the project team
· Contributes to project delivery strategies, coordinates with external consultants, and supervises production of benchmark documents
· Assists in communicating with client representatives to identify long-term and short-term objectives of the design process
· Reports to Design Director and HOK leadership regarding progress and performance of projects
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred
· 6 to 8 years of architectural work experience, preferably dealing with projects in China.
· Demonstrable skills in creative design solutions
· Registered Architect (HKIA/AIA/RIBA/Equivalent) preferred
· LEED accreditation preferred
· Knowledge of architectural construction methodology and building systems
· Committed to the advantages of QA/QC processes
· Knowledge of Revit preferred
· Experienced use of industry standard methods for issue tracking and design coordination

· Experience across a range of project types and scales
· Experience with urban design and planning projects would be considered an asset
