Grand Hyatt Tokyo opened its door together with the opening of Roppongi Hills in 2003.  Since the opening, 13 years has passed as it offered a special place in the town of Roppongi playing a perfect role for its location in Tokyo which is rare.  The current Grand Hyatt is now ready to proceed to the next stage.  Within this situation, the area designed at the Grand Hyatt is the banquet which gains most of the revenue within the hotel.

  2003年,日本东京君悦酒店和著名的综合娱乐中心六本木之丘同期对外营业。自从酒店开业以来,13年来为六本木市区增加了一个特别的去处,对于在东京本来就很罕见的地区扮演了极其重要的作用。目前,君悦酒店整装待发向下一个阶段开始前行,在这种情况下,作为酒店重要的宴请区域,为酒店创造了乐观的收益。

Achieving flexibility to the guests needs in a functional way leads to a toxic condition in the hotel industry - “a glamourous yet steady environment”.  Hyatt brand has always strived for innovation reflecting the essence of each generation from an acute angle.  A simple brief for this project was given by Hyatt - “Banquet with a Residential Feel”.   This word “feel” not only defines a way to perceive things in a superficial and ordinary manner but to foresee things beyond a superficial way in order to wisely understand the nature of things.

  用一种功能性的手法满足客户需求的灵活性,这在酒店行业成了一种毒性状态 —“富有魅力但沉稳的环境”。君悦集团总是试图通过创新,从一个非常精准的角度来反映每一代人的特质。对于宴会厅域的升级,酒店方给出了言简意赅的意图—“打造住家感觉的宴会厅”。“感觉”一词不仅用一种浅显而又通俗易懂的方式来定义理解事物的方法,而且在超出一种通俗的方法之上来预示事物,为了更好地理解万事万物的运行规则。

Simply put, rather than a typical understanding of “residential feel”, our design had to convey the deeper meaning of this word.  This banquet shall become a place that will largely change the value and usability of such venues.  This change is the value Hyatt offers and we must pass on this attitude as the Hyatt brand continues to evolve.

  简单的陈述,而不是用一种特别的“居家感觉”的理解,那么我们的设计必须传达比措辞更深的内涵,宴会厅将大大地改变酒店的价值性和使用性。这样的改变,是君悦酒店集团赋予的,在君悦品牌不断进化的过程中,我们必须传承这样的理念。
