百年名校南京工业大学，是一所以工科为主的省属重点名校。

Nanjing University of Technology is a centennial university,it is a provincial key university which focuses on engineering.

设计师在着手学校餐厅风格设计时，巧妙保留食堂原有工业风水磨石地板，选用高饱和色彩进行软装搭配，呈现出百年名校的历史感与时尚年轻气质的高度和谐。

When the designer started to design the college restaurant , the designer carefully preserved the original industrial styled terrazzo floor in the canteen, and selected the high-saturated color for soft-packing, showing the high harmony between historical sense and fashionable young temperament in the centennial university.

在餐厅功能设计上，实现多区域划分。在餐饮功能之外，创造性地打造出集社交、学习、时尚、休闲等多功能与一体，拓宽高校餐厅外延功能。

For the design of the restaurant function, multi-regional division is realized. In addition to the catering function,the designer creatively creates a multi-functional design style integrating social, learning, fashion, leisure and other functions, and the designer expands the extension function of college restaurants.

天花线性造型与地面的指示标志是导视，也是在刻意营造高峰下的就餐秩序。

The linear shape on the ceiling and the indications on the ground have a guiding effect, and it is also deliberately creating a dining order under the dining peak crowd.

功能布局

 Functional layout

1. 高密度就餐位置排序，满足高峰时学生用餐需求。

1. High-density dining position sorting can meet the peak dining needs of students.

The scattered space and exquisite layout greatly improve the utilization rate of the college restaurant, which allows the historic and famous school express youthful vitality, create the social pleasure with the charming color, and provide the college students a perfect space experience.

错落的空间和精致的布局极大提高学校餐厅的利用率，让这所历史悠久的名校迸发年轻活力，用色彩的魅力创造出社交的愉悦，给大学生绝佳的空间体验。

矩阵排列的桌椅与天花造型相呼应，空间边界清晰明确

The tables and chairs arranged in a matrix echo the shape of the ceiling, and the space boundaries are clear 

高密度的就餐位置排布，满足中午高峰期学生用餐需求

High-density dining position sorting can meet the peak dining needs of students

满足数千人同时用餐是高校餐厅的首要功能，保证千人用餐又不显得杂乱，是设计上的第一个挑战。

Meeting thousands of people enjoy dining at the same time is the primary function of college restaurants, ensuring that thousands of people eat without mess is an important challenge in design. 

在餐厅的主体区域，我们划分出整块的高密度就餐空间：桌椅极简，矩阵排列，边界清晰，营造井然有序的中心就餐区。木纹铝板造型的应用让裸露的天花板多了几分层次。黄色的枫叶树成为这块空间视觉的焦点，营造欣欣向荣的就餐氛围。

In the main area in the restaurant, we divide the whole high-density dining space: the table and chairs are minimal, they are arranged in matrix , the boundaries are clear, and aim to create a well-ordered central dining area. The wood grain aluminum panels allows the exposed ceiling to be more layered. Yellow maple tree becomes the focus of vision in this area, creating a thriving dining atmosphere.

2. 软包卡座与吧台的结合满足不同用餐体验，在用餐时间段外发挥出餐厅特有功能，让休闲、探讨、聚会、分享成为一种可能，让学校餐厅的使用功能发挥到极致。

2. The soft pack deck and the bar counter meet different dining experiences, and the special functions of the restaurant are played outside the meal time period, so that leisure, discussion, gathering and sharing and other functions can be achieved, and the function of the college restaurant is maximized.

大面积木饰面的应用凸显出空间布局的变化，让高冷的工业风多了几分温度

Applying large-area wood veneers highlights the changes in the spatial layout, allowing the cold industrial style to become warmer

水泥材质的应用与方钢造型的使用，契合空间轻工业风基调，软装配饰中书籍及盆景的点缀让空间饱满且具有活力

The application of cement material and square steel shape fit the space light industrial style tone, and books and bonsai in soft assembly makes the space full and dynamic

水泥板定制的长条形吧台桌将左右方向的卡座区域分割开，打破呆板的空间布局，让空间更加有层次

The custom-made long bar table with the cement board separates the card seat area into the left direction and right direction, breaking the rigid space layout and allowing the space more layered

透明的大块玻璃窗，不仅增强了室内采光，从视觉上使得餐厅环境更为宽敞有序，开放空间体现大学的兼容、并蓄的精神。

 The transparent large glass window not only enhances indoor lighting,it also makes the restaurant environment more spacious and orderly at the visual level . The open space reflects the compatible and eclectic spirit in university.

在功能细节上结合学生的日常需求，设计了USB插座和微波炉。设计师始终站在学生的角度上布置餐厅环境，让空间发挥出最大的使用价值。

In terms of functional details,combined with the daily needs of students, USB sockets and microwave ovens are designed. The designer places the restaurant environment from the perspective of the students, so that the space can fully play its value.

天花上水泥清漆与水泥板定制的吧台遥相呼应，橘色的装饰吊灯拉近了空间的尺度感，让空间富有活力，错落的色彩使整体风格更为和谐

The cement varnish on the ceiling echoes the custom bar with the cement board. The orange decorative chandelier shows the scale of the space, which allows the space vibrant and the scattered colors make the overall style more harmonious

3.统一的门头设计标示将不同地域口味的特色美食串联在一起，射灯让高高在上的喷绘图案成为抬头可见的亮点，黑底上洋溢挥洒着红色、黄色、灰色，仿佛不同的食材在这个环境中发挥出独特的味觉属性。杂中有序，序中有理，体现出大学文化的开放与包容。

3. The unified slogan design marks connects special foods in different regional tastes in series. The spotlights make the inkjet patterns become visible highlights. The black background is full of red, yellow and gray,as if different ingredients play a unique taste attribute in this environment.Just as the order in the mess, the rationality in the order,which reflects the openness and tolerance of the university culture.

在黑与白对立的空间里，除了需要木饰面柔化空间，绿色显得尤为重要。设计师通过绿植应用，及灯光手法让空间显得层次分明，进而营造一个生态有机的就餐氛围

In the opposition space with black and white, in addition to the wood veneer to soften the space, green is particularly important. The designer uses the green plant and lighting techniques to make the space appear distinct, thus to create an ecological and organic dining atmosphere

统一的门头标示将不同地域口味的特色美食串联在一起，随处可见的软装书籍摆放处处体现出高校的就餐文化

色彩与氛围

Color and atmosphere

设计师用颜色来说话——暗色系诉说历史，明亮色系畅谈未来。

The designer speaks with color – the dark color tells the story, the bright color talks about the future.

餐厅食堂的地面是有十多年历史的水磨石材料，在改建过程中我们把这部分色彩元素保留下来了，彰显其百年工科名校的严肃气质

The floor in the restaurant canteen is a terrazzo material with more than ten years of history. During the reconstruction process, we have preserved this part of the color elements, highlighting the serious temperament of the century-old engineering university

在改建过程中，在古朴、工业风的基础上，我们大面积运用了明亮的色系：明黄餐桌、暖黄灯光、赤红餐椅、随处点缀的绿植……这些明快的色彩与暗色系交错碰撞，打破工业元素的高冷，营造活跃的就餐氛围。

During the reconstruction process, on the basis of quaint and industrial style, we have applied a bright color system on a large scale: bright yellow dining table, warm yellow light, red dining chair, green plants everywhere. The bright colors are interlaced with dark colors,which breaks the cold industrial elements, and creates an active dining atmosphere.

正如年轻的血液进入严谨的科研项目中，迸发出更多创意和活力。我们在设计餐厅色彩时，想要表达的就是这样一种“传承和创新、严谨和时尚”和谐统一的思想。

 Just as young talents enters rigorous research projects, it sends out more creativity and vitality. When we design the color of the restaurant, we want to express the a harmonious and unified idea as "inheritance and innovation, rigor and fashion".

天色渐晚，忙碌而充实的一天结束了。这时候好好享受一顿美食能够让学生身心得到极大满足。

It’s getting late, and the busy and fulfilling day is over. At this time, enjoying a meal can make the students relaxed and satisfied.

简洁的线条以及整体化的设计，让学校餐厅无论哪个时段都显得温暖、有序

The clean lines and integrated design make the restaurant warm and orderable at any time

暖黄色的灯光营造出温暖的就餐环境，形状各异的吊灯洒下动感时尚的光影。

The warm yellow light creates a warm dining environment, and different shapes of chandeliers sway the dynamic and stylish light.

在层次分明的光影中，浓烈的就餐氛围，即使时是工业风这个“硬汉”也会变得委婉多情，空间是如此静谧与和谐。

In the layered light and shadow, in the strong dining atmosphere, even the industrial styles "tough guy" will become euphemistic, the space is so quiet and harmonious.
