Award-winning New York-based interior design studio Champalimaud Design were called upon to design an exquisite turnkey villa within the exclusive, luxury residential development No 15 Shouson in Hong Kong. This super-prime residential offering provides a sanctuary for its residents looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Champalimaud Design creates transformative spaces, working on some of the world's most distinctive projects such as Raffles Singapore and The Beverly Hills Hotel. Their approach to design is rooted in the unique culture, perspective and history of each project’s location. Nestled in the green belt of the Southern District on Hong Kong Island, the development consisting of 15 detached houses is located in one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious locations. No. 15 Shouson is embraced by Mount Cameron, Bennet's Hill, Brick Hill, Violet Hill, and Mount Nicholson nearby which create a green stratosphere around it and endless foliage. The studio has drawn on the serenity of the surrounding area to execute a sumptuous yet laid back design scheme that seamlessly blends the exterior landscape and interior architecture.

The renowned interior design studio lent their expertise to design a turnkey villa, showcasing understated and sophisticated design to suit the most discerning tastes. No 15 Shouson embraces the merging of Eastern and Western design influences. Carefully crafted to blend with the development’s surroundings, the clean lines and contemporary design introduced by Champalimaud Design creates a harmonious, peaceful atmosphere, with an abundance of natural lighting throughout. Neutral materials and a warm colour palette has been selected to emphasise the beauty of nature. The thoughtful use of marble adds grandeur and luxury to the property, while the wood panelled walls add warmth and further deepens the property’s connection to nature.

Entry through the foyer reveals an expansive Great Room in which conversation flows seamlessly from the dining area to living room. Residents can transition to novel social environments in the Family Room and Rooftop Garden spaces, while the second floor’s Master Suite offers a private and intimate retreat within the residence.
