Scandinavian design is one of the most popular styles in America, and one Danish designer has recently completed his first-ever skyscraper in the world.

在哥本哈根出生和长大的Thomas Juul-Hansen领衔Sutton Tower的内外设计。Sutton Tower是曼哈顿东区海滨最高的住宅楼，高850英尺（约合857米）。
Thomas Juul-Hansen, who was born and raised in Copenhagen, led the interior and exterior design of Sutton Tower, the tallest residential tower on Manhattan’s East side waterfront, standing 850 feet tall.

Rooted in Juul-Hansen’s Scandinavian ethos of timelessness, natural materials and craftsmanship, Sutton Tower stands apart from other new luxury towers around the city with its Bavarian limestone façade stretching from base to crown – a rare feat in today’s architecture. The building’s design embraces permanence, celebrating natural elements like stone inside and out and even in custom sculptures by Juul-Hansen himself — his first at a residential development.
